New Route Draws Sea of Runners

Nearly 1,000 runners in the fifth OC Marathon finished the 26.2-mile course from Newport Beach's Fashion Island to the OC Fair & Event Center on Sunday.

About 9,000 other participants ran shorter distances.

Ocean views were the highlight of the course, which changed for the first time in the race's history. View event photos >
